“Portraits” by Dino Massa Kansas City Quintet + 5

Kansas City USA – Italian jazz piano maestro Dino Massa is returning to Kansas City in 2019 to perform and record.

He and ensemble co-leader Christopher Burnett are writing original music for that project now.

“Portraits” is a collection of music inspired by the impressionistic photography of Duane Hallock and the expressionistic fine artworks of masters like Munch and Monet.

The Dino Massa Kansas City Quintet + 5 is the core quintet ensemble augmented by the sonic colors of five additional woodwind and brass instrumental artists.
